Meghan McWeeney competed at the 2008 National Showcase Competition in Theatrical Skating. The competition was held on August 6th through August 10th in Rochester, MN. Meghan noted that in Minnesota, “I skated against the best of the best.” She also explained that during the national competition, she skated under the spotlight for the first time during a competition. Locally, spotlights aren’t used during competition. Meghan lives in Reading, MA and is a sophomore at Reading Memorial High School. She is a representing member of the North Shore Skating Club and is coached by Suzi Sweezey. Congratulations to Meghan who brings Cruella DeVil to life on ice!
